Rural art center Ställbergs Gruva in Bergslagen, Sweden, already had a cult following before we met. The brief was to take things to the next level by pinpointing the purpose and gather the design direction from the initial years into a refined visual identity, guidelines, web design and development.
The visual identity is shaped from the curious and exploratory approach that lies in Ställbergs Gruva’s methodology, models and processes. The approach is described in the identity as »In synergy, new perspectives are opened up for man, matter, nature and art«. The visual identity deals with both the history connected to the physical location and the movement into a sustainable future reflecting the anthrophocene.
